In Argentina, Industry Day is celebrated in commemoration of September 2, 1857, the date on which the caravel San Antonio set sail from the port of Buenos Aires to Brazil, loading bags of flour and fabrics. It was the first Argentine export of manufactures.

On the occasion of this day, the company participated in various events. Mindful of the new normal, they were celebrated virtually. One of them held by the municipality of Tres de Febrero in which the most important industrialists in the area participated. Alejandro Sabbatini expressed to Mayor Diego Valenzuela the importance of generating a long-term plan in which the entire political arc can program as a central objective the progressive growth of the value of the industrial sector.

On September 2, Sabbatini Equipos Hidráulicos attended the virtual meeting organized by the Industrial Union of Tres de Febrero. The event was attended by national, provincial and municipal authorities from the ILO. The president of the UIA was also present. The originality of the event was that a virtual toast was held and long-standing figures in the industrial sector of Argentina were honored.

Today, as 60 years ago, we continue investing and betting every day on the development of the local and national industry since it is the way to a strong, comprehensive and self-sufficient economy.
